What Owns Your Heart?

Who owns my heart? Is it love, or is it art? You now I wanna believe, that we're a masterpiece. But sometimes it's hard to tell in the dark, who owns my heart. M.Cyrus

Intersting quote. When I read it I didn't know that it was orginaly from a song by Miley Cyrus. I'm deffinetly not a big fan. But what matters is what this quote says, not necessarly the person who wrote it, or sang it, for that matter. But just the fact that it was sung by someone who has tasted of the world's offer...just assists the message to come across loud and clear.

Who owns your heart? or for that matter..."what" owns your heart?
Is it Love that consumes you, or is it your own desires, art, abilities,
or the world around you? Do you walk around in the dark wondering what your purpose is?
Don't try to find yourself any place else, other than in the presence of your Maker. You can never find yourself, or become all that you were meant to be, if you don't go before, and grown in the light, of the one who made you.

Is it hard to tell who or what "really" 'owns' your heart?
What takes up the majority of your time, dedication, appreciation,
thoughts? What and Who do you serve?

In these bodies we will live,
In these bodies we will die,
and where you invest your love
you invest your life. ~ Mumford & Sons

Welcome: About the Blog

Hello Readers.
This blog is about two combined topics
#1. Art and Creative outlet
#2. Living a Christ Centered Life

Whether it's Music, Film making, Photography, Painting, Design,
Dance, Writing, Poetry, etc...These are all forms of Creative outlet or art, so this blog may from time to time cover any of the above areas :) From photos to videos, from song lyrics to inspiring pictures, from poems to blog posts on art itself.

One of the most important things, is a Person's 'Theology', especially for those who are creative or artistic. And for those who are not talented in the creative area, or who do not practice any form of artistic outlet...you are most likely drawn to, or influenced by the art and creativity around you. Think of the films you watch, the music you listen to, the books you read. What is the inspiration of the artist himself? What does it mean to live motivated by what you believe?

For We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporary; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:18
